A diary with a difference…..

Two new arrivals!

At 1815 today i discovered 2 newborn lambs (twins!) with their mother in our paddock!   A day early but strong, they have had their first feed and are cosily tucked away in the sheep pen.  Their bellies are full, beautiful black coats.. i’m sure there will be lots of photos coming soon..

Congratulations!!If these twins are a day early, are all the others due tomorrow? Can we see a photo of the proud father?

    • The father was called Olchon Valley Leonard, he was a pure bred Black Welsh also. We had another set of twins this morning…. He is no longer on the island, having returned to Paul, the owner who very kindly lent him to us for breeding. Sam
